It's Impossible For Me to Miss My Good

"There is no loss in Divine Mind, therefore, I cannot lose anything which belongs to me. It will be restored or I will receive its equivalent."

~~ Florence Scovel Shinn
Earlier today I saw my neighbour but I didn't have time to chat to her properly.

Then I went into town to do some shopping.

On the way back, I decided to catch the bus home. I had three choices of buses I could catch home. One is a slower route but it takes me all the way home, which is very handy when you're carrying bags of shopping, which I had. The other two are more direct but it would mean I have to walk the rest of the way home.

The first bus that arrived was the direct route. As soon as I got on and swiped my bus pass, I noticed the slower bus right behind. Damn, I can't believe I missed the bus behind! If only I'd checked first. Nevermind!

Later as I was walking home, I noticed the woman I'd seen earlier and I called her and crossed over to have a chat. She told me she was due to go into hospital in a couple of months to have her knees done and I wished her well. Then she invited me round to her house later to collect a bag of sweets. (See How Sweet!)

So everything was working out for the best. While I had missed the bus that would have taken me all the way home, I had not missed my lovely neighbour and her bag of sweets.

It's impossible for me to miss my good or what I truly love. When I appear to miss my good, another opportunity will always be provided for me to experience or receive my good.
